“We invite everyone who loves the Pittsburgh region to join us in celebrating the film industry’s success in producing thousands of jobs for local crew and vendors and generating significant economic development in southwestern Pennsylvania.
2022 was a great year with six projects, an increased Film Tax Credit Program, and the PFO started Pittsburgh Film Works! a workforce development program to train residents in the entertainment industry.
The Pittsburgh Film Office works diligently to create opportunities for family-sustaining jobs and to consistently increase the economic impact to the region. Please support the Pittsburgh Film Office as we look ahead to place southwestern Pennsylvania at the forefront of the film, television, and streaming industry,” said Dawn Keezer, Director of the Pittsburgh Film Office.
