PEOPLE WE LOVE Artist Talk and Opening Reception

More than 125 individuals from the Pittsburgh region participated in the community based artwork People We Love created by Kit Monkman of KMA. They selected photographs to bring to a recording studio and were filmed gazing at the images of loved ones. Please join us to welcome Kit Monkman back to Pittsburgh and learn about the inspiration of this international project that explores empathy and curiosity. And love.

Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership invites you to the artist talk and opening. We will start the evening with a reception catered by Sprezzatura. The artist will talk about this commission at 6:15 p.m. After the talk, everyone is welcome to the storefront gallery to experience the installation.

The talk, reception, and opening are free. Reservations are required for the artist talk and reception. Reservations are not required to attend the installation opening.
