The symphonies of Beethoven speak to generation upon generation. Guest conductor Juraj Val?uha returns to Heinz Hall to lead Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony. Behzod Abduraimov, who left Heinz Hall audiences cheering in 2017, performs Prokofiev’s blistering Second Piano Concerto. “With prodigious technique and rhapsodic flair, Mr. Abduraimov dispatched the work’s challenges, including burst upon burst of arm-blurring octaves,” reported The New York Times.
