Explore the world of beetles! Discover an installation called Beetlemania by artist, Joan Danziger. Explore the scientific and artistic sides of these amazing bugs!

Learn more about where beetles live, what they eat, and how big they are with bug expert and Ph.D. candidate Sebastian Echeverri. Inspect some real specimens to see their beautiful colors, and compare them to the beetle sculptures on the walls.

Then make beetle art of your own with artist Amanda Zimmerman. You can take inspiration from the real beetle specimen or from artworks on the walls. What will your beetle look like? Amanda Zimmerman's work varies from picture book illustrations to info graphics and illustrations for science-nature focused editorials. You can see her portfolio at www.salamandaart.com
