Tiny Talk: Living Room Editions are back, and we're thrilled to have Candace Opper as our first guest for the season! We'll be hearing from Candace as she talks about her latest book, "Certain and Impossible Events," her work as a writer and an artist.

The cost of admission is $5-$20, sliding scale. 50% of profits from this event will go to Inside Our Minds. To attend, you must purchase a ticket below. Participants will receive a Zoom link to the event one hour before the event begins.

More about Candace:

Candace Jane Opper is a writer, a mother, and a visual artist. She is the author of Certain and Impossible Events, selected by Cheryl Strayed as the winner of a Kore Press Memoir Award. Her writing has appeared in Guernica, Longreads, Narratively, Literary Hub, Brevity, Creative Nonfiction, Bright Wall/Dark Room, and Vestoj, among others. She holds an MFA from Portland State University and is the recipient of a Creative Nonfiction Foundation Fellowship. She has worked with several amazing arts organizations and is currently the Editorial and Operations Manager with Point Line Projects.

Candace grew up in the woods of Southern Connecticut and lived in Providence, Rhode Island and Portland, Oregon, before landing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she lives with her husband, writer Patrick McGinty, and their son.
