Pre-Professional Dance with Point Park University

The Department of Community and Summer Education at Point Park University offers non-credit, pre-professional dance classes. Virtual classes (via Zoom) start the week of February 8th and run weekly, Monday - Saturday, until the week of April 12th. Each ticket (for a specific date, time, and class concentration) is for 10 weekly classes throughout the spring semester.

This program is open to any gifted student who is at an intermediate level of dance who is of current high school or undergraduate status. Although no audition is required, students must be at an intermediate level to participate. Not sure if you are qualified? Please reach out to the office of Community and Summer Education. We will connect you with an instructor who can assist.

Please note that Point Park affiliated students and children of alumni/employees receive a $50.00 discount. The PPU rate is only $125.00. Please enter POINTPARK21 to receive your discount. All tickets will be verified.

Mondays: 6:30pm - 7:30pm | Jazz

Tuesdays: 4:00pm - 5:00pm | Modern

Wednesdays: 7:45pm - 8:45pm | Musical Theater Dance

Thursdays: 4:00pm - 5:30pm | Ballet (price adjustment)

Saturday: 10:00pm - 11:00pm | Cardio Sculpt
