Science grows from curiosity! Carnegie Science Center’s classes are specifically designed around suitable themes for budding scientists to cultivate a love for learning and to teach them basic science concepts. All workshops are specially designed for specific age levels. To make the most of your child’s experience, they must be the appropriate age on the date the selected workshop begins.

Explore how climate change affects the Pittsburgh region by looking at the ways that changes to temperature and climate affect the rivers we rely on in so many ways. Learn about erosion, run-off, and how we can protect our rivers. Perform cool experiments that test river water for pH balance, salinity, and more — all topped off with a tour of H²Oh!.
