A New Spin on Pittsburgh’s Monster Pumpkin Festival

Monday, October 26, 2020

The “Greatest Growths on Earth” can now be enjoyed from the comfort of your vehicle from Friday, October 30 through Thursday, November 5.

The Monster Pumpkin Festival, Pittsburgh’s popular fall attraction, has been transformed into the 2020 Pittsburgh Monster Pumpkins Popup

To safely enjoy the event, you can drive by the free, 150ft long exhibit of gigantic gourds at the Gold Parking Lot 1A in front of Heinz Field. Expect to see an astonishing display of the world-famous Dill’s Atlantic Giants hand-carved and painted to perfection. Lit up at night, these pumpkins will give the city a frightful fun glow just in time for Halloween.

For their third consecutive year, Master Carvers Dean Murray and Danny Kissel will be designing and constructing these crazy creations alongside Greg Butauski and Patrick O’Brian. Max ‘Gems’ Gonzales, Shane Pilster and Scott Brozovich, three of the best graffiti artists in the region, will also be joining to paint some priceless works of art.

In addition to the event, you can sign up for the Lecom “Virtual Costume Caper” 5K Run/Walk. Dress up in costume and join the walk/run from anywhere while staying safe and still having fun.
