Dining News: EatPGH, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership team for fifth Urban Supper

EatPGH and Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership are teaming up for a fifth Urban Supper from 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 19.

The event will create a fine-dining experience — with a diverse menu and hand-crafted cocktails — in the transformed parking lot at 919 Liberty Ave. (where Seventh meets Liberty avenues), Downtown.

 

Chefs for the event include Matthew Porco, Jason Watts, Anthony Castine and Donnie Amman of the Sienna Restaurant Group.

The menu will include cured salmon, fried caper and beet chip appetizers; heirloom tomato with stracciatella, duck speck and olive oil; Chilled smoked celeriac velouté with basil oil; Elysian farms lamb tartar with lardo and pickled-mustard aioli; grilled seafood sausage with corona beans, braised kale and shellfish broth; Pork cheek tortellini with braised cipollini onions and jus; grilled Pa.-farmed hanger steak with caramelized onion puree, burnt carrots and mosto cotto; and Barolo cake.

 

Tickets are $150 per person. Ticket quantity is limited for this 21-and-older event.
