Join the Fort Pitt Museum in welcoming Daniel Krebs, who will discuss German prisoners of war during the American Revolution as a part of the museum’s Fort Pitt Speaker Series. Around 37,000 German mercenaries, or Hessians, entered service as British auxiliaries during the American Revolution. Krebs will draw on German, British, and U.S. military records to analyze the lives of these German POWs who fell into American hands during the Revolutionary War. $10 for adults, $5 for students and History Center members
