Texture Ballet Presents: Velocity

Closing out the 2016-2017 season is Texture's presentation of Velocity, a dynamic, eclectic concert that features the dancer's skills, range and athleticism. The pace will leave you on the edge of your seat as the stage comes to life with movement and music.

Choreographers: Alan Obuzor, Kelsey Bartman, Brynn Vogel and Alexandra Tiso.

Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Bartman is premiering a new work which is dedicated to her late grandmother. Dancers don rain boots for Alexandra Tiso's premiere exploring the emotions associated with precipitation. Brynn Vogel is premiering a new work about someone becoming aware of their interactions and relationships with others and reflecting on how it changes them. Closing out the program is the premiere of a new work by Artistic Director Alan Obuzor set to the dynamic music of Two Steps From Hell.
