Strength in the Struggle: Civil Rights is a new exhibition featuring two distinct displays presented by the August Wilson Center for African American Culture in collaboration with The African American Museum in Philadelphia and the In Sisterhood: The Women's Movement in Pittsburgh oral history project. 381 Days is a Smithsonian Institution exhibit about the genesis of the Civil Rights Movement. Bridge Builders is a local exhibit celebrating influential African American women who were involved in the women's movement in Pittsburgh and the nation during the period 1967-1987. Strength in the Struggle: Civil Rights features text, photography, memorabilia and film.
