Open Streets returns for the summer season this Sunday, May 28, with an all new route! From 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. come check out the new route from Market Square to Uptown, over the Birmingham Bridge to the South Side, and all the way back through the Armstrong Tunnel. Come down and walk, run, bike and skate through the streets of Pittsburgh.
Experience your city in a whole new way while enjoying a summer day with your friends and family. Along the way, there will be yoga, dancing, shopping, children’s activities, running, brunching, lounging, and more.
Also, volunteers are still needed to help with the event (there are even a few jobs earlier in the week!), check out the volunteer page here and sign up to help make Open Streets even more awesome! If you can’t make this Sunday, don’t forget, there are two other Open Streets opportunities this summer, each with a different route!
