Pittsburgh, a rust belt city, built on innovation, hard work, and grit, has been defined by the manufacturing and production of steel for over 100 years. Entrepreneurs in Pittsburgh’s steel industry founded some of the greatest companies of the 20th century giving rise to the institutions and foundations that now define Pittsburgh’s economy and culture. This lasting legacy has made Pittsburgh one of the highest concentrations of intellectual capital in the world.

Alloy 26 at Isabella
Built in the early 1900’s, Isabella is a 9 story, waterfront office building located on the banks of Pittsburgh’s North Shore. The original owner, S. A. Maxwell, used the building as a wallpaper warehouse, making this the perfect location to throw new ideas at the wall and hope they stick.
