Monday, August 7: Both sessions of Move it Monday are taking a break during the August heat, but we’ll be back with PNC YMCA in September!

Tuesday, August 8: It’s KidsPlay! Join us from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. for some free, fun activities. This week includes story time with the Carnegie Library, crafts with the CitiParks Roving Art Cart, and songs with Val and the Whippersnappers!

Wednesday, August 9: Groove along to some free tunes, visit vendors, and more at Midweek Music in Market Square by CBS Radio from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. through August 23. This week features music by Jay Wiley.

In the evening, join us and WHIRL Magazine for our extended Yoga in the Square series! In addition to Sunday mornings, you can now catch your favorite free class Downtown every Wednesday evening from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. through September 27. This week features instruction from Satcey Vespazani of South Hills Power Yoga.

Thursday, August 10: Be sure to stop by the Market Square Farmers Market to grab your weekly produce, fresh flowers, and try new local goods! Join us from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with music from Lyra from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Friday, August 11: Every Friday brings the Summer Music Series to Market Square, sponsored by Bob FM and Q92.9. Check out some live, local music! This week features Stranger Than Steel.

Dancing in the Square is back! Get your groovin’ shoes on and move with us from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 12: From 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., check out Saturday KidsPlay! This Saturday features activities with Cool Vibrations and the Calligraphy Guild!

In the evening, stop by our Saturday Night Market! Through October 28, from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m., Market Square will spring to life on Saturday evenings with a pop-up market featuring hand crafted items such as art, jewelry, apparel, and more. Entertainment from DJ Colt.

Sunday, August 13: Come get your “om” on  – Yoga in the Square with FittPGH runs from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m with instruction by Sharon Skittle of Urban Elements and Cycology. Be sure to bring your own mat and follow us on Twitter @DowntownPitt to catch any weather cancellations.
